ARTS ADMINISTRATION
Over the years Mr. Dana has been actively working as an arts activist and administrator.
Recent activities include:
•Co-founder and organizer of the Take Me To The River Project, which has staged multinational, multidisciplinary exhibitions in Cairo, under the auspices of the Egyptian Minister of Culture (2003), and in Washington, DC. (2004) and exhibitions and community outreach projects at the Pretoria Art Museum in South Africa (2005) and the Wichita Falls Art Museum (2006). •Co-founder of Artomatic, the huge Washington, DC, region month-long mutidisciplinary arts event. Member of 5-person Executive Committee of the first 4 Artomatics (1999 - 2006) www.artomatic.org
•Member of Board of Directors of the Central Asian Cultural Exchange and Project Manager for artists “live-work” exchange programs with artists from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. (1997 - Present) www.cace.us
•Member of Board of Direcors of Pyramid Atlantic, a leading national and international print and papermaking art center and studio. (2005 - Present) www.pyramidatlanticartcenter.org
